I’m Sarah, and dogs have been a constant source of joy, learning, and love throughout my life. From growing up with family pets to now sharing life with my rescue, Monty — our spirited, elderly gent and the loudest member of the family — dogs have always held a special place in my heart.

Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience with a wide variety of dogs: everything from high-energy working breeds and XL Bullies to nervous small breeds and dogs with medical or allergy-specific needs. I’ve worked with many pups who’ve been labeled “challenging” — and I’ve found that often, all they really need is patience, understanding, and the right kind of care.

Wagging Tails began naturally. While working in the corporate world, I became the go-to dog carer for friends, neighbors, and local dogs — including those turned away by other walkers or whose needs were considered too complex. After struggling myself to find reliable care for my own anxious dog, I realized how vital it is for owners to have someone they can truly trust.​
As demand for my help grew, and with my heart clearly leaning toward the dogs rather than the desk, I made the leap. I swapped my laptop for a lead and founded Wagging Tails — a service built on compassion, experience, and tailored support for every dog and their family.
